I got a ticket (TX) circa 04/08 for a broken headlight. Question about driving record...?

I could not get the ticket dismissed because I sold my car the next day. Basically my dad wouldn't let me do any sort of defensive driving and he just paid it. I got a job offer at a bmw dealership and I need to show my driving record. Will that little mess show up on there? Will they still give me the job as a porter (washing cars/parking/etc)?
